Property in the department of the Haute Savoie is quite varied in style and architecture. Ranging from town properties in the centre of ancient picturesque towns such as Annecy to ski chalets perched on mountain slopes of the Alps, to old farmhouses dotted around the pretty countryside or new developments in growing ski resorts.
For many years the Haute Savoie has been a favourite place to purchase for foreigners wishing to profit from the winter sports in the Alps.
