North East France and Paris

The area in the Northeast France including Champagne has many of the vibrant cities in France with towns and cities such as Lille, Strasbourg and Nancy in particular. Heading south to the Vosges from the Somme you will pass the hills of the Jura until you reach the borders of central Europe. The Champagne area as well the area of Alsace is famous for its wines and champagnes.

Paris and its suburbs offer a varied choice of property to purchase with the elegant apartments in the central area of Paris to houses and villas on the outlying areas attracting commuters working in the city.

North West

The North West France comprising Brittany and Normandy (Upper and Lower). This area is is the closest area to the UK and the most accessible by car. The sandy beaches of both Normandy and Brittany are well known historically and from a touristic view. Easy to get here holiday homes have been extremely popular with the British for many years.

West Coast

Loire and Poitou-Charentes areas. This area just south of Brittany and Normany is very popular with boat owners. The pretty port towns along this stretch of Atlantic Coast boasts towns such as La Rochelle and moving ever so slightly inland is the fairytale region of the Loire Chateaux and vineyards producing fine white wines and producing Cognac.

South West Central

The South Western area of France comprising the Limousin region.

South

Languedoc-Roussillon - this area which extends east of Toulouse to the Mediterranean coast and touches Spain in the South East. This area is particularly popular with people enjoying watersports or with sail boats. There are numerous roman ruins and historic cities with many new developments on the coastline. The vineyards of the Languedoc are famous with many new world winemaker producing wine.

South West

The South West France including the Dordogne which has dramatically beautiful ancient hilltop villages and the Gascony regions has lovely rolling countryside with bastide villages and many wonderful stonebuilt chateaux and vineyards or small wine estates. The area to the west including the Landes region and extending to the Atlantic coast offers the bleached white beaches and soothing pine forests. To the south the Pyrenees offer skiing and walking and a hop and a skip through to Spain.

Property Gascony

South East

Provence and the Cote D'Azur - The corner of France renknowned for its glamour and chic and fast life. Bordering Monaca the marinas and port towns on the Mediterranean boast impressive yachts while just inland in the hills of the Provence countryside you can still find remote properties in hillside villages offering a tranquil lifestyle.

Burgundy and the Alps - The valleys of the Rhone and the Saone produce some of France's best wines while the cities such as Lyon and Dijon which are home to some of the finest French Restaurants. Exquisite gastronomic experiences to be had in this region. Outdoor activities are in abundance with walking, trekking, horseriding to be found in the Auvergne and the Massif central areas while skiing and winter sports are at the top of the list in the Alpine regions of the Haute Savoie and Alps areas. Summer activities in the Alpine areas such as climbing and walking, paragliding are also very popular. This is long established pied a terre territory.
